The company culture
at Arlington is family oriented. All employees are a part of the
"family team." "Old fashioned work ethics are fundamental
to Arlington's success" says John Staudinger. "We have a
blend of individuals from all over the world, including a large
European core. Because of our profit sharing plan, when an employee
does not carry his weight, others let us know. If they do not improve,
they are weeded out," he said.
The second generation of Staudingers are active in growing the business
into the new millennia. Susan Blanck originally joined the company
as a sales representative and has added many new customers to help
the company grow its business. After working here for 20 years,
she recently acquired a controlling interest in Arlington Machine
and Tool Company, and now serves as President and CEO. Susan says,
"The company is easy to sell because we really have the
proven characteristics that everyone is looking for. Strategically,
I am taking the company in the direction of Military Prime Contracting
work as a Certified Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Small Disadvantaged
Business (SDB)."

John J. Staudinger is currently Vice President of Operations,
in charge of customer relations and production control. John Sr.
is still actively involved in engineering and trouble shooting.
"My objective" says John Sr. "was to build a team capable
of running in my absence. We have selected the top people in the
area and have developed a team that I am very proud of ... our
future never looked as promising."
